OHCAC is aware of the aims and needs of Head Start programs and supports them. We have the expertise and resources to be your one-stop shop for Head Start and Early Head Start because Head Start has been a main focus of our organization for decades. Our products are excellent resources for helping 3 to 5 year olds acquire skills in the Head Start Child Development and Learning Framework areas.

After an emergency, your kid may be sad or experience other intense emotions, regardless of his or her age. Some kids exhibit symptoms of trouble immediately away, while others may not show signs of difficulty for a long time. The age of a kid, past experiences, and how the youngster normally copes with stress can all influence how he or she reacts and shows indications of distress.
Children's reactions are influenced by what they observe from the adults in their environment. When parents and caregivers respond calmly and confidently to a tragedy, they can best assist their children.
OHCAC curriculum supports and reassures children going through difficult times and will also include training parents on proper ways to reassure their children when they’re sad or going through an emergency.
The Early Learning Outcomes Framework establishes learning outcomes in various areas and outlines how children advance across important areas of learning and development.
Adults will have a better understanding of what they should be doing to offer successful learning experiences that promote critical early learning outcomes as a result of this knowledge.
The First Step of the PFCE Framework is a research-based organizational framework that helps organizations achieve Head Start Program Performance Standards for parent, family, and community involvement.
At the program level, family involvement entails parents working together with their children and with staff to achieve the goals that families set for themselves and their children. It also involves families and staff working together to achieve program improvement goals.
Head Start's aims of teaching excellent school preparation skills and social-emotional learning for early children are shared by Conscious Discipline. As a result, the skills and techniques of Conscious Discipline are inextricably linked to the Head Start Framework.
